I lived on a catamaran for 13 years and developed a deep love of the ocean and its coastal areas. Most of my work as an artist is based on my feeling of oneness with the sea.

In my art, I have tried to portray what I enjoyed the most, beautiful sunny days, balmy nights and the fantastic panoramic views that not everyone has the opportunity to experience, but in my own stylistic way.

Design and colour are my true love and to incorporate these with the feel, smell and touch of the sea, is my greatest pleasure. The wondrous forms of nature and fleeting hues are an endless source of inspiration for me.

Having been a practicing artist for over thirty years, I have painted a huge variety of themes and subject matter, but I am always drawn back to the ocean. I just love everything about it.

Journeys into Colour  is a celebration, a wonderful body of work that talks as much about the external world as it does the conceptual journeys of three artists. Using colour as the uniting theme Lin, Gaye and Christine give us a wonderful insight into their own creative processes.

Immerse yourself in this body of work. Let go. Fly back to the sweetness of your youth, where everything is new and interesting. In a world of mass produced media these works stand proud, telling the stories of our time in a way that will fade with fashion.

This is where art lives.
